This post shares an afternoon tea experience that was conducted in 2019.

We are traveling to the west coast for our next afternoon tea spotlight. As a reminder, my spotlights will be shorter reviews of afternoon tea experiences that I went to several years ago. Today Iā€™m discussing the afternoon tea experience at the Tea Room in the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas! Back in 2019 my sister surprised me with a trip to Las Vegas for my birthday. As apart of that trip we experienced a luxurious afternoon tea at the Waldorf Astoria.

A Little Bit of History: The Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas was formerly the Mandarin Oriental hotel. Originally owned by MGM Mirage and Dubai World, it first opened on December 4, 2009, before being rebranded under the Waldorf Astoria name in 2018.

The Experience: Because we noted we were celebrating a birthday in the reservation, we had prime seating at one of their window seats overlooking the Vegas strip. They offered us the traditional three tier set up of scones, desserts and savory items. Because it was my birthday they also brought a cupcake with a candle and a macaron on it for me which was a special touch!

They have the option to upgrade with champagne, bellinis or unlimited mimosas. We upgraded to the unlimited mimosa package. This was an indulgent experience with an incredible view!

As of Today: The Tea Room at the Waldorf Astoria is still up and running Wednesdays to Sundays. Currently the afternoon tea (not including upgrades) is priced at $62pp. You can check out the current menu here.

My Rating: 5/5 teacups. There are a ton of things to do on the Vegas Strip, but if you are looking for an indulgent tea spot, this is worth checking out.
