When people ask me what influences my fantasy writing, I usually say childhood fairy tales. Fairy tales were my first experience with fantasy worlds. They made me love “make-believe.” It’s easy for me to get consumed with ancient worlds, prophecies, myths, and legends, so it was natural to start creating worlds of my own. I started this journey as an independent author back in 2015 with a short novella called The Whispers of Shadows (now part of The Fifth Kingdom series). From there, writing fantasy stories quickly became my active hobby.

I’m greatly influenced by my faith in Jesus Christ and authors who write Biblical fiction. Because of this, in addition to writing Adventure Fantasy novels (The Fifth Kingdom, The Fortress), which is tailored to a broad audience, I also write Christian Fantasy (The Prodigal Woman series), which is Romantic Fantasy stories tailored to a Christian Audience.

I am also a major tea enthusiast! Drinking tea and writing have always gone hand in hand for me. So other than promoting my fantasy stories, on this site you can also catch some of my experiences trying out different Afternoon Tea spots. I am always plotting out new stories and adventures as I’m enjoying some tea, scones, and finger sandwiches!

I am committed to creating diverse fantasy worlds for adults and young adults. Though many times my characters get into compromising situations, experience violence, unfaithfulness, or just have a checkered past, I write my stories without explicit content or cursing, so parents and youths can enjoy all the action, adventure, and romance together.
